Merry Christmas everyone!!!
So far, it’s been a great weekend of family and good food. And it’ll just continue tomorrow (the 26th)!
The afternoon of Christmas Eve, David and I went over to his parent’s house for lunch. On the menu was lasagna and crescent rolls. I did not get a picture of lunch, but I did picture the delicious dessert! Pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

My breakfast had some pumpkin in there too.

Oatmeal with honey, greek yogurt, pumpkin, walnuts and coconut. Of course with a nice cup of Lavazza coffee.
Their house was beautifully decorated. Loved their tree.

And I LOVED my gifts. From my sister in law Grace, I got a bag of cinnamon Starbucks coffee and some bamboo spoons for baking! Yah! No more mixing with plastic spoons.

From my in-laws I got a gift basket that included a mug with our mugs on it
, honey sticks, chocolate orange sticks, vanilla almond tea, raspberry chocolate bar, granola, organic vanilla syrup, and pumpkin spice cookies. Yummy!!

For the evening, I went to work. And just before my shift ended, I went through the lobby and snapped some pictures of the lovely decorations.

When I came home, I noticed that the apartment had been really cleaned and the computer was set up to play music. Did not think of it; just thought David was tidying up. Then he said “Oh, I have to run out to the car for something.” He then comes back inside with his army buddy Amanda, who also happens to be a licensed masseuse. His gift was for me to get an upper body massage since I have been talking about how sore my back had been. Yeah!! It was the best gift and such a surprise! And it was the best massage I ever had. It hurt, but she got out so many of the kinks and knots that I have. I was just so surprised by this and I definitely think that this was David’s year.
Tomorrow will be Christmas and the Trilogy!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!

What a wonderful Christmas gift! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
First, your oatmeal looks so good. I am in oatmeal withdrawal right now. I haven’t had any since Friday! I haven’t tried coconut as a topping yet and need to.
Second, the hotel looks so pretty all dressed up for the holidays.
And third, I would kill for that Christmas gift right now. Sounds heavenly!
