That was pretty much my day today. A whole lotta nothing.
I woke up to David calling me around 8AM. I contemplated going for a run but ended up vetoing it since this cough I’ve been fighting is in my chest. I don’t want it to get worse. I signed up for the Whitinsville 5 Miler Turkey Trot for Thanksgiving and I want to be in tip top shape!
For breakfast (which went unpictured) I had some When Pigs Fly toast with 1 egg scrambled on top, side of Morning Star “sausage” and mango Cobani.
The only time I left the apartment was to get the mail. And you know what? I liked it. With my schedule over the weekend, a day at home was much needed. I was supposed to go out to dinner with a friend from high school but this cold is keeping me indoors.
When I made lunch, I put together one of my favorite stir fry bowls with chicken and quinoa. I also decided to do some experimenting with my camera to see what the manual setting is all about. I changed the ISO setting on each picture, but still haven’t gotten the handle of aperture’s and f…numbers. Yeah, there’s a lot to know, but I’m excited to learn! The pictures go from an ISO of 400 down to 80:
And then I just sat on my butt all day, watched TV, checked blogs and signed up for a New Year’s Polar Plunge with my brother in law and sisters in law! We’re raising money for Camp Sunshine. I’m scared and yet really excited for it. ![]()
