A Survey Kind of Day

Happy Wednesday everyone! This week is huge for David and I because we got the OK from our building inspector to move in!!!! We don’t have the legal documents to allow us to get a mortgage, but we can at least move all of our stuff in and start living there. We slept on an air mattress last night and our bathroom is without a door, but we don’t care! It’s ours, and it’s literally a labor of love.

Hopefully, once we’re all moved in the posts will be more frequent. We’re without internet so it will be a while, but I’m itching to start writing again!

For tonight, though, I was feeling like a survey. I found this on on Chelsey’s blog and decided to write up my own answers. Enjoy!

Food: This or That

Mexican or Italian?
This is actually really hard to answer. I love them both but I think Mexican comes out on top. I love tacos, empanadas, tamales, pretty much all of the road side food in Mexico City.

Chips or Fries?
Can’t beat the crunch of a Cape Cod potato chip. Instead of having a sweet tooth, I have a salty tooth. Chips are a weakness.

Almond Butter or Peanut Butter?
I’ve tried almond butter and even though it’s tasty I hands down love crunchy peanut butter, Teddie brand.

Cake or Brownie?
Most likely a cake. Too much chocolate, to me, is not a good thing, so I’m usually done with a brownie after a couple of bites. A cake however, I can go back for slice after slice. I love carrot cake, lemon cake and bundt cakes.

Strawberries or Blueberries?
Another tough one. I love all berries. I love strawberries, but don’t like getting the seeds stuck in my teeth. I love blueberries but sometimes you get the errant (??) stem. They are both, however, refreshing and go perfectly in a bowl of oatmeal. I call this one a toss up.

Thin Crust Pizza or Deep Dish Pizza?
Hawaiian thin crust pizza. Well, that one wasn’t hard to answer.

Coffee or Tea?
I love a cup of coffee in the morning, and a nice cup of tea in the evening. Especially during the winter.

Chicken or Steak?
I will eat chicken more often during the week but I love to splurge on a nice Filet Mignon.

Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate?
I’ve never had a piece of milk chocolate that I didn’t like.

Apple or Orange?
Apples! I love to pick them, slice them and put them in a pie. Yet I don’t have the patience to peel an orange.
