It’s been 30 years…
30 years since I joined my parents, Mark and Annette, on this crazy adventure called life.
As my mother would always tell the story, apparently it was a rainy/sleet kind of evening on that Sunday, with cars flying off the road! (Imagine me like George Constanza telling any kind of story). My parents drove down from their home in Derry, New Hampshire, since they wanted me to be born at Beverly Hospital. Their drive started in the early hours of the morning, and I was born at 1:47 in the afternoon. A fact that was instilled in me as my parents would make it a point to let me know that that was the moment I turned a year older.
And another year older I am. I’m 30. And I’m excited. Time for a new decade to begin. And the celebrations have just begun as well! I’m taking vacation time on Thursday and Friday, and I’ll be spending time with friends and David. On Saturday, I will be celebrating with friends and family at a party at my parents house.
Here’s to a great 30th year!
